Heritage Railway magazine issue 329 (Feb 14 – Mar 14, 2025) has a fantastic 5-page article about the Duke. The article covers everything from its early history through to the latest overhaul, including the remaining work to be completed. The article includes numerous previously unpublished pictures and also covers the plans for the running-in period and mainline operational running. It’s definitely worth picking up a copy – a great read.
