These table lamps were for sale, though an open bidding process. Dave Oliver, our Engineering Principal has made these two table lamps from the exhaust valve stems and
seal cups that were renewed during the current overhaul. These items were renewed because erosion had taken place where they went through the seals, which were also renewed. These lamps are unique, because the components were the ones fitted to the original centre Caprotti Box which was manufactured in 1954 when the Duke was originally built. The lamps have now been claimed by the highest bidder at a price of £500 for the pair.
